I felt it gave a lot of hope also [Smile]

I can see why super8 Kodachrome had to be let go (Huge 50-year-old megabuck-machines involved) but this seems different; if super 8-product is only three machines away from 16mm stock, super 8 should be available for a long time yet! [Smile]

Oh, perhaps we should also support Wittners whenever we can; I´ve bought stuff from them (two-blade shutter, etc) in the past and quality was outstanding. [Smile]

Wittner also bought what was left of Beaulieu Cinema Inc a couple of years ago, litterally several tonnes of stuff! [Eek!]

Again, you´d think I was on the Wittner payroll, [Wink]

but I just feel they provide invaluable service to us who want to go on using small format equipment.

I frequently meet younger people who want to do stuff in super 8, yesterday a young man revealed his plans for a big super8-project to be shot in the next couple of weeks, for which he needed 40 rolls of film [Eek!]

I felt that was pretty impressive (ambitious), and should make Kodak happy! [Big Grin]

About a year ago over here an ambitious documentary project (professional) was shot on 16mm and they shot... hang on... 100 000 metres of raw stock! Wonderful [Wink]
