Once you log in the chat room, you can type your profundities in the text box bottom center.

That indicates where you are within the 8mm forum. In this case it indicates 8mm forum, chat room thread.

However ....

The screenshot you provided does indeed indicate where the 'missing link' is contained !

I have bookmarked the following address

Apparently, when jumping directly to the 8mm forum in this way, I circumnavigate the main Film-Tech site .. and the controls you see on the LEFT side of the screenshot are not present in my browser. If I go to www.film-tech,com I can see that panel on the left ... er ... ok Brad changed it now I dont get that panel at all even if I go to www.film-tech.com

In any event, the panel on the left does not display in my browser ( firefox ) and Im wondering if that is probably one reason why the chat room is used so infrequently.

I use Firefox and don't get that bar on the left side either.
