Was this animated gem ever released on super 8 color sound?

Also, what other Halas bachelor animated films were released on super 8?

I already know that "Animal Farm" the animated feature by Halas Bachelor was released, (as I actually ran into a copy once) but I'm thinking that it might have been a pirated version, as it had very poor focus and was from a very worn out negative or mastering materials.

Osi...

'Kraftwerk Autobahn'....12 min. version from 1979. I have a beautiful print on super 8 that I got from Reel Image last year.

I would like to see some Hoffnung cartoons on super 8.

Ah yes, I saw some screenshots from that print. Very nice, one of they're later efforts to be sure. I have seen that "Christmas Visitor" pop up on a lot of Christmas cartoon DVD's, but I'd love to find that one on super with great color.

My(then) company Phoenix Film Services released Butterfly Ball on 8mm, in I think the late 70s or early 80s. It was a very limited release, mainly due to our lack of money at the time!! I think only 50 or 100 prints were produced by Buck Labs. Again, because of printing costs, the box design was actually screenprinted individually onto every box! A brilliant job by Chris Wrest of Dores Signs in Blackpool, who is happily still around and still trading !! The film is now a pretty rare collectors item, and I saw one on eBay a year or so ago priced at £38 !! Those certainly were the days !!
