Not that fast David.

If you deal with a long time forum member with significant number of posts, yes you are perhaps not going to have a problem.

But there are several case that a new member suddenly offering films here. This should be taken carefully unless there is a recommendation from other fellow member here.

One of the best reasons for buying films from fellow forum members is that, (especially for us older members of the forum who just can't "shut up", yeah, I speak of myself) ...

Whenever we make a buy, sell or trade, our reputation is on the line, everytime, and that, if one of us is so "shadey" as to do a rotten deed on a felow forum member, that member will be called out for it, and hey, that includes myself as well.

This means that there is an "accountability" to being a forum member that is kind of inherant in being a forum member, and I personally like that protection.

So, for instance, I have no problem buying, selling or trading with Pat, Rob or any one of you, as far as I'm concerned, as I know full well, that one screw-job can lose you a lot of "street cred" when it comes to reliability.

Some of the best deals and highest quality purchases I've ever made were from reputable members of this forum. Not a lot - about a handful - but I'm really grateful for this bunch.

David, I have bought films from forum members over the years and every deal has been a good one. There have not been a large amount of them, but good just the same.
