The first quiz was solved pretty quickly by eagle-eyed Forum members, so let's see how this one goes. These are enlargements of smaller sections of various cutdown covers.

A.
 -

B.
 -

C.
 -

D.
 -

It's pretty interesting what one can find by taking a close look at these box covers. Good luck!

Doug- I LOVE these quizes!

I know the first one, I think its "Once Upon A Dream", Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" extract.

I recognize the third one (C), but can't put my finger on it.

The other two, I'm lost right now.

James.

The Hollywood sign would lead me to believe it's something like
"Hollywood or Bust", the last pic of a violent act could be the
Wolfman cutdown.

James got the first one!

 -

Hugh,

Now that you mention it, that does look like Claude Rains using the cane on Lon Chaney Jr., however it is from a different cutdown.

I almost said "Sodom & Gommorah" for that one too [Roll Eyes]

I have the digest, but haven't seen the box in years.

Come on somebody, get that last one!

Hey Doug, I enjoy these quizzes [Smile] Yet at the same time I realize how poorly I know my 8mm boxes. I have not recognized a single one yet. [Frown]

A fair few of mine don't have the original boxes,to my mind, the
films the thing. Nice cover for "Demon", although I think the
Druids might have given their builder the sack for the botchjob
monoliths on the box.In fact that could be the him being set upon
by the guy with the cane!
