I just came across this Ebay Listing I was wondering if this is the most modern (recent) projector to be manufactured. Looks like they came out with it in 2008, don't know if they still are or how recently they have been making them. Obviously it is very cheap and something I wouldn't use but I thought it was interesting none the less. The LED light is an interesting idea. I wonder if it could work well if it was well made.

I heard it scratched film, nevertheless, it shows there is a market. I think with the advances in 3-D printing ( permitting small operations to do low volume manufacturing) , we will see a more ambitious new projector in the future.

its just a toy projector at the end of the day, no better than the Casdon standard 8mm silent job I had in 1972! Just a novelty that would only ever interest those looking for a gadget as opposed to us lot looking for & owning serious hardware to show our cherished prints upon!

Yes...I find scorpions interesting, but I wouldn't want to buy one.

At one time Gakken used to distribute films to schools and colleges, perhaps the little projector was intended for sale to children who were used to seeing films projected in their classrooms.
