Hi all,

I have been away from the Super 8/ 8mm scene for over three years now. Just this morning, however, a colleague of mine who knows I love projectors just gave me this machine. Any thoughts on good/ bad sides n all [Smile] ? I'm considering maybe getting a Super 8 title, just for old time sake [Smile] !!!

Thanks,
ET

Sankyo projectors are a good brand, over the years I've had a couple and am always happy with their performance.
I did recently get a free one but it was dead, and I am not that technically minded so I used it for parts.
If the friend said it works great then get a film and give it a run [Smile]

Cheers from me in New Zealand :-)

Goodmorning Helyas,

In case you need a spare machine I found that on the web (French site) :

http://www.leboncoin.fr/image_son/923376032.htm?ca=12_s

There is a high probability the machine has accumulated few hours since new....
Also, that can give you an idea.

Elyas, I have the same model. My projector has been modified by a previous owner to accept 1200ft/360mt spools. I've had "power shortage" from time to time issue and a focus trouble but since the projector has been fixed, it is completely ok now, including with a Sankyo HI 1.0 lens.
