I've had my ELMO ST1200HD and GS1200 for some years, I am ashame to admit I have never put a drop of oil or grease in any of them. I have noticed that after they have been stored for a while without use they don't start smoothly (sometimes they flickr). Can someone explain how to lubricate this machines. Is there some sort of oil reservoir in them?

Thanks!

There is no lubricant reservoir but I learned about lubing the worm gear and cam-tank a few years ago:

The Great Worm-Glop Weekend!

Part of what surprised me was how much hair (or was it "fur") gets caught in the spiral of the worm gear.

These days whenever I have the back off a machine I at least check this out.
