CHC FLAWLESS print of the film CHICKEN RUN.
It's in beautiful shape and has been re-recorded off a digital laserdisc. The sound will BLOW you away! Has been mounted onto larger reels and comes with boxes with art. AN AMAZING print and the sound is better than ANY other print I've ever recorded
345.00 or best offer
Email me at Monstoys@aol.com
thanks, yrs, Rob

Didn't know this had been available on Laserdisc? Did it have a Stereo or Mono soundtrack?

I thought laserdiscs were finished well before this came out. Just shows what I know.

Hi Graham,
not sure now...a friend made me a copy of what he claimed was a laserdisc, maybe he truly meant dvd. HE recorded it onto a dvdr which I then used to record the film stripe.
Love to ask my friend, but he's since moved on to a higher plain.

But was it a Stereo soundtrack as I have not been able to find a stereo copy to do mine. According to all I can find out the film was made in mono?

Kevin, Chicken Run was recorded in Dolby Digital 5.1 and to my knowledge, All DVDs of it worldwide should have it.

Perhaps you are confusing it with the early Wallace & Gromit films which were mono?

All major studio releases have digital multi-channel soundtracks, even low budget films. Sometimes an independant film will have a mono soundtrack but that's more of a budget issue.

EDIT: Dug out my DVD and took a quick look at the end credits which clearly list the three major sound formats: Dolby Digital, DTS, and SDDS. Hope that helps.
