Now on eBay: the first titles from a cache of mostly silent-era features and shorts -

silent films on ebay

With many more titles to come, including some real rarities (THE LIGHT OF FAITH, THE GOOSE WOMAN) and a complete silent serial or two.

wow. these look great, with hard to find titles. I recommend those Pare Lorentz documentaries. The Plow That Broke the Plains and The River. Here's a couple of stills from Blackhawk Super 8 Sound prints. Excellent teaching film for kids,memorable music composed for the film by Virgil Thomson, great doc photography. These films are as contemporary today as in the days they were produced. (circa1938).
