Thanks Daniel,
Yes I still have Casablanca. It is on my list of about a dozen movies that I still need to look at and get screen shots posted to the forum. A few people were interested in the film...I hope it lives up to expectations.

Cheers,
Richard

Also a quick update to the group regarding the status of films posted so far:

Forbidden Planet [SOLD]
Poltergeist [SOLD]
Godfather [SOLD]

Other discussions ongoing regarding a few of the other items noted to date, but nothing set in stone - yet. I will do my best to continue to update the list of what has been sold.

Feel free to drop me a PM.

Thanks
Richard

A couple more films. Please PM me if you have any questions or require additional info.

Dr Strangelove - $250 US
-2x1200'
-Columbia films, Black and White
-Some lines - at least for the beginning of the movie (you can see in screen shots), although still seemed pretty crisp to my eyes

 -

 -

 -

 -

Victor Victoria - $400 US
-2X1200'; 1X800'
-MGM
-Really nice colour and sound … just a good print in my opinion – thanks Uncle Ted!

Citizen Kane = $100 US

-2x1200' (metal Elmo reels)
-RKO Radio Picture
-Black and White
-Has quite a number of lines (see screenshots) – perhaps typical of an old film like this? Not sure if this quality is typical of the time period, but will leave for others to judge
-Sound was good.
-Proposed cost does not include shipping or any applicable taxes at point of entry

 -

 -

 -

 -

As always appreciate any and all feedback from Forum members

Cheers,
Richard

I have had a couple of requests for some more screen shots for Citizen Kane. It is my understanding that there are a couple of versions of this film?... Please find below some screen shots from Reel 2 (except of course for the Citzen Kane Intro). Hope this helps.

Thanks
Richard

Please find below details regarding a couple more films

Casablanca - $275 US
-one film can with 2 X 1200’ reels
-Warner Bros. Pictures
-Black and white - the way it should be...
-A classic that looks really good to me – great depth, clear with no obvious lines
-Sound is good

 -

 -

 -

 -

Murder on the Orient Express - $150 US
-two film cans – 2 X 1200'; 1 X 800'
-A Marketing Film – heavy sigh…
-Has gone reddish and colour has faded. Reddish hues more pronounced in darker scenes.
-That being said still a classic - great to watch and still quite clear (see screen shots)
-Sound is also quite good

 -

 -

 -

 -

Please drop me a PM if there is interest in either of these films.

Cheers,
Richard
