Hi Peter,

Great film and you got it for a great price!
I normally use transferwise.com for low cost transfers to a bank account outside the UK. The UK banks will charge you through the nose for a bank transfer to Germany (and it takes long as well).

Hello Rob
He wanted me to pay by paypal (family & Friends) the thing is once you have paid like this you have no come back and I could see that I would not get goods but lost my money, I spoke to ebay and they said "do not pay this way" the seller refuses to send an ebay invoice for me to pay, I think this speaks volumes to the minions cartoon he is supposed to be doing as the saying goes "don't hold your breath"

Hey Peter,

Well, I think releasing a cartoon is a bit of a project, especially if you haven't done that before. I wouldn't hold any delays in that project against him.
But you are right about the PayPal payment. He is most likely just keen to avoid the Paypal charges. You won the film for a good price. If I were you, I would suggest to him that you pay for the PayPal charges. If you do that, there is no good reason for him not to go ahead with a regular PayPal transaction, and you are fully covered.
I have the film myself. I'm very pleased with it. I'm a big fan of Fritz Lang. I would love to find several of his other early silents. The Mabuse print is well worth the money.

Peter, I agree with Rob. When I do PayPal transactions I include the fee so the seller will get the full amount. That way you are protected and the seller should be satisfied...
