Transfer units for super 8 sound are far and few between. Here is an ELMO ST-1200 HD/TC model with a 5 blade shudder, designed for use as a telecine projector. This unit was the top of the line in it's day; and is second only to the later GS-1200.
Still, this model has many of the same bells and whistles. It is equiped to handle dual track (stereo) sound, and can isolate either magnetic track for mono playback. It is also able to reproduce super 8 optical sound. Record capability is possible, as well.

In addition to transfer, the unit also doubles as an equally fine projector. The image posted here was taken off a film shown on the ST-1200 HD/TC.

Included are a 1200' reel, pigtail adapter (for use with optional speaker), long focus 25-50mm F4 lens, Elmo carrying case (shipped separately), and the original instruction booklet. [Note: film is not included.]

The only issue is the digital counter is not functional. Otherwise, this is still a superior super 8 sound projector.

Purchased in 1999 from Irv Higdon, it has only been used a few times, and is now looking for a new home.

$500. plus shipping takes is away. PM for more information.

HI Stu

Sorry for delay. I'm going to hold out for a GS 1200.

Thanks

Hey Stuart,
I was wondering if this projector is still available?
