Thinking about passively getting back into S8 collecting.
WAYYYY back when, in the late 70s, I had a Sankyo 600 and ran digests all the time. I also was into 16mm in the 90s. I have since sold or gotten rid of all my film stuff.
I'd like to find a relatively inexpensive Elmo S8 projector that would handle 800 or better yet 1200 foot reels in good condition.
I have $$ available for a right deal. Let me know..Thanks so much!

Upon some research, I may think otherwise as I see that the lamps are no longer available, or soon will be.
Are these lamps made by other vendors?

What lamps are you thinking of? I don't think the more common ones are under threat, and every time I buy some the price seems lower!
