Classic appear to have got hold of a large ex-rental library collection, judging by the titles for sale there. Has anybody bought or seen any of these prints? If so whats the general condition been like?

They're not quick to reply are they!!

There are a lot of nice titles there, but, I'm guessing they're all ex-rental and may not be worth the prices he's asking.

I have had one of Phil's ex-rental prints and it was excellent. He will re-check any print before purchase, so you can be sure of quality. Most dealers these days offer ex-rental prints; it's not just CHC that are doing this.

Phil is normally very good at replying to emails. He hasn't been too well recently so do give him time.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

Yep, I realise that many if not most of the prints on offer these days are ex-rental. I was just using that term to specify that it looks like they just bought out an ex-rental library - judging by the large glut of good titles.

Mike

It was some time ago that Phil was talking to me about his acquisition of a 16mm library.

I seem to believe it was Intercontinental Films which was run by the late Gerald Price.
