Greetings Mark
In all my years of servicing the 16 CL
I only had one with with the plastic rollers( what a shock)
It seems that over time or sooner they may scratch the film
maybe do to warped film
I personally would not use them or sell them
Stay with the rubber rollers. the ones that i sell are made with a better rubber
Hope this helps

alternative source here:

Some user have them built in and are very pleased.
I have no own experience with those plastic rollers, but finish is really excellent.

we take old rubber off and place new rubber on, grinded to required diameter. If sintered bearings are worn, they will be replaced as well. It is less expensive for our customers.
