Hi All
My back up machine is an EIKI SSL. It makes a couple of irritating noises:
The front arm clutch (not sure if that is what it's called) makes a scraping noise
And there is a mystery rattle on the other side.
Any Eiki owners experienced these noises? How do I fix? Picture and sound are perfect

I shot a quick video of the noises:

Have you tried lubricating that clutch. I notice in the video there is a mark on the wheel and when it is turning it coincides with the noise.

Hi Pasquale,

I have not tried that yet-thanks! I will do that today and see if that fixes it.

Thanks again!

Wow! That thread was perfect! I fixed the squeaky noise in the front arm clutch. It wasn't too hard to disassemble; just took a few pictures and aligned the notch on the shaft.

Hopefully a good cleaning will remove the slight noises in elsewhere

Working on the sound damper tensioner now! It moves in really slow like a turntable tonearm--it should snap.

Thank you to all for responding!
