I currently own an Elmo 16CL Xenon projector with a 250-watt lamp and I have seen Elmo Xenon CX-350's (350-watt lamps) for sale in the range of $2200-$2500. My screen is 8 feet wide and I was curious if I would notice much of an increase in brightness with the CX-350?

I own both projectors and I would say the difference in brightness is negligible. The CX-350 does have a douser. This comes in handy when showing shorts as you don't have to restrike the lamp each time.

If you have a 16CL Xenon, stick on that, as this one is much handy than CX.

Guys, just want to take advantage of this post, I have scope lens bracket for each Elmo projector (16 CL or CX series) should you need ones.

cheers,
