I could imagine how one's location can determine how easy or difficult it can be to obtain clean reels. Also, shipping overseas can have quite the price tag, even when items are offered for free. It may on the other hand have become harder to obtain helpful or constructive responses. Maybe an ebay search filtered by distance Mark? Craigslist does wonders for me here. Is there an equivalent around your area?

Hi Mark, just received a film on a plastic 200ft reel in a 35mm can (?!). I can respool the film to a 400ft one and give away the 200ft for free with the Disney cartoon I'm currently holding for you.

Hi Evan yes they are hard to get in the UK.

Getting them here from the USA is a hazardous going on fees and post wise etc.

Films and reels the post and fees are often far higher than the thing you are buying. Plus the high fee for paying the charges too !!!

Luckily stateside film things are duty free to a very high price, not so at this end sadly.

Thank you Iman just seen your mail. Much appreciated.

Best wishes Mark.

Really Simon I must be doing something wrong !!! I can only find 2 over priced new orange ones.

They are very cheap and easy in the USA.

You seem to get a bit of resller price thing often here.

Best Mark.
