Haha! That's hilarious... I can't get over how this guy keeps saying "crassette" instead of "cassette" ... and Harrison Ford in Meteor? Maybe if he had ever played James Bond.... (pun @ Sean Connery, who is in Meteor) [Wink]

I would say that they are selling the royalties on this docu type film. If the film becomes popular etc you will then get royalties from each showing worldwide......strange setup?

It's strictly forbidden the use of the film for HOME VIDEO DISTRIBUTION ( VHS or DVD or any other format).

Nothing for us, it is not allowed to make an 8mm release of this. [Wink]

They use the word "Video" which super 8 isnt! I wonder how it would stand up in a court of law if super 8 coppies were released?

Kev I know,

but I think the prohibition is also for super8 ..... or?
...hmmmm "NON THEATRICAL, PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROJECTIONS"...... 8mm could be possible? ..... but who would buy it? [Big Grin]

imdb.com says that the film is from 1975 and not from 1969.

And still available at amazon for $49.95
minimum!!!!!

How about this one: RATTLE BONES RARE

http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-8-8mm-Skeleton-Cartoon-X-51-RATTLE-BONES-RARE_W0QQitemZ6424981812QQcategoryZ63821QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

Is it a film or a take-out order from a rib joint?

Note how the seller is absolutely confident that this is THE ultra-rare dancing skeleton cartoon. Which one? Iwerks? Disney? Both did a few!

Here's something you don't see often. A real oddity... And a cracking contraption:
Elmo Lens Holder Table

Is this home made?

Dig this quality item. I really like how the seller took the picture of it laying in the grass. Really gives you confidence about its quality, doesn't it? And check out the "buy it now" price!

Oh, and here's a great one. Fan turns on, very quiet and smooth! Could be for 8mm, 16mm, 35mm...but it's very compact!

I think it's a filmstrip projector. I also think the seller's a bozo.

Hey Jan, I noted on that 8,500.00 dollar ebay auction, that some body ACTUALLY paid that price!!!! Good gosh, either it's someone who just likes helping people in trouble, or something I can't fathom. For all the person knows, they were getting a bunch of 50ft. silent carnival releases, (I think I can say that's about the lowest of the low), and a little sears projector. It's too bad we can't do any follow up on something like that!

It just occurred to me that this Kodak projector looks an awful lot like an 8-track cartridge player. That's probably what the bidder is thinking, too. [Big Grin]

NR means 'no reserve' [Wink] (I find these abbreviations annoying though: NR, MIB, OBO, NOS, and so on...)

Just wondering whether one gets the dollar shown in the picture, too? [Razz]
