Yes UGC Cinemas here in the U.K. has been sold to Cineworld, and they will all be re-branded by November. It's a shame as I doubt that there Monthly subscription card will continue, which meant you could see as many films as you want for just £9.99p a month (or £12.99p inc. London's West End). I've just seen 2 films tonight using it (Miss Congieniality 2 & Valiant), and the manager was very doubtful that the card would continue, but what gets me is that there still selling it to punters, without telling them about the possibility of the card ending soon, rather double standards I think. I doubt that I will be able to see as many films as I usually do, as it's £6.40p a visit at my UGC, and I think that I will only be able to see one a week when the card ends.
