I like the Old Groaner because before we had a TV set my father had a 9.5mm sound projector and would hire films in the late 50's/early 60's. One of the few films he bought outright was the Mack Sennett 2reeler 'Blue Of The Night'(1933) I watched this film dozens of times over those years and could recite the dialogue. In the early part of this film Bing is singing 'Auf Weiderseh'n '[ apologies if the spelling is wrong] in a nightclub. I have just bought 'Holiday Inn' on dvd and there is a great featurette about Bing and Fred Astaire on it. They included a clip of the above song but credited it to 'Dream House' (1931). So my question is (at last) did Universal make a mistake, or did Sennett re-use footage or did Pathescope juggle with it? I had both BOTN and DH on super 8mm but they were edited versions so don't help. Any Crosby /9.5 experts have an answer? thanks Mal
