First thing you do is get some film like...so..
 -
Make sure your top loop is correctly adjusted...
 -
Stop for a BIG cheesy smile......
 -
After that now thread up and around the bottom spool..
 -

Very commendable! After a working life in the cinema business, but now retired,it has been my experience that females make brilliant operators-often showing us blokes the way ahead. [Smile]

Graham,

Please thank Zoe for setting me straight. I had the top loop adjustment and the big cheesy smile in the wrong order.

Thanks for your comments its always great to see youngsters take an interest. I think Zoe might give young Chris our 15 year old projectionist at work a run for his money in a few years time [Smile]

Incidently the projector is a "Kelvin Challenger" 16mm, and was made here in New Zealand by "Kelvin Projectors Ltd" in a factory in Onehunga, the Challenger went on the market in 1951 and was very popular in Schools and institutions throughout New Zealand and in Australia.
