"Rufus, do you have everything?"

"I've never had any complaints!"

Who said it and what film was it?

Hint: It's a comedy classic!

Graham, no, it's not, but - coincidence again - the actor who says that phrase continuously has a super connection with Batman.

Sorry Martin, it's not "Gone with the Wind".

"Rufus, do you have everything?"

"I've never had any complaints!"

Osi, is it "Cocoanuts" The Marx Bros. classic?

Right guy folks, but the wrong film. The film was "A Night at the Opera", as Groucho and Margaret Dumont are getting on the boat.

Easy one now ...

"Hey!! I'm walkin here, I'M WALKIN HEREYAH!!"

"Midnight Cowboy" Osi.

How about this one?

"Oh, she had the face of an angel!"

Hi young 'un.

It's a 1980 American film, about a British subject.

Easy Osi -

Peter Finch in "Network".

A bit more to go on.......1980 BAFTA Winning film (available on Super 8mm).

"Oh, she had the face of an angel!"

"I must have been a great disappointment to her".

"No, Mr.*******, no. No son as loving as you could ever be a disappointment".

"If only I could find her, so she could see me with such lovely friends here now; perhaps she could love me as I am. I've tried so hard to be good".

Come on now, short of the name blanked out, it should be easy??

Correct Osi - good old John Merrick.

Was your quote from "Touch of Evil" with Orson Welles and Charlton Heston??

Congratulations Keith! You win!

Got to think of a more difficult one!

Okay, maybe not that hard ...

"When you put your hand, in a bunch of goo, that a moment before was your best friends face ... you'll know what to do."

Osi, we appear to appreciate the same quality films - it's from "Patton" with George C Scott [Smile]

How about this one -
"My old grandmother used to say "Anything mechanical, give it a good bashing".

"We'll find 'em in the end, I promise you. We'll find 'em. Just as sure as a turnin' of the earth".

"good! our first catch of the day!"
Patrick [Big Grin]

"The Longest Day" is correct Patrick.

The answer to yours is "Empire Strikes Back".

A nice easy one now -

"That'll be the day!"

Sorry Martin it's not "The Buddy Holly Story", but Buddy Holly reputedly "borrowed" the saying for the title" of his hit song.

Still no winner for my "winner" quote...
And no one for Keith's "grits" so far...

Other clues, the actor mentionned earlier played a golf pro on the big screen and the former partner of an overweight lingerie designer on TV...
The leading lady in Keith's film was in "my" director's last film.

Great Jean!

Okay, lets make it a tuffy ... (well, maybe not that tough)
