The seller neglects to say that this 1928 Laurel & Hardy two reeler, "Should Married Men Go Home?" is a silent film.

I would not take it if it were given away. The only way to view Laurel & Hardy films is on a reel projector. But we all know that! [Smile]

I cant quite understand a nostalgic interest say in VHS, it was always 2nd rate at the best of times. Even buying new way back it was often duff with specs or fishes or flashes etc and other issues.

But DVD or Blu Ray is effectively the same thing really only many times better and cheaper.

Its just effectively a viewing medium that was very poor but useful in its day.

But why would you pay something like that knowing that very week similar or even beter items like it will be going in the bin worldwide !!!

It must be the nostalgic need to hold on to the past or something we humans seem to need.

Best Mark.
