I don't recall any mention of Louis Jourdan passing on. Famous for GIGI. Only watched him in Octopussy the same day.

Louis Jordan a superb actor. (RIP)

I loved him in the BBC TV production of "Dracula" in my opinion as a Stoker aficionado...the most accurate production of them all...very real locations - Frank Finlay, superb as Van Helsing...and real sinister atmosphere.

Here is a link to the full movie...I would love to get your feedback - let me know what you think.

He was very good in the two TV films where he played occult specialist Dr. David Sorrell, Fear No Evil & Ritual of Evil.

Not one of his greatest work, but Louis Joudan was in Wes Craven's "Swamp Thing." This cult classic was a favorite of my two boys.

A weekly Belgian paper magazine about movie and cinema reported his dead in a few lines almost on the last page stating that he would be remember by the genral public for his appearance in a episode of Colombo ! This week, a letter from a reader blamed the magazine for that and quoted Gigi.
