I am a bit bemused at my "Junior" status on this film forum.
Not bad for someone who has been collecting films for around
48 years and a Cinema Projectionist for around 45 years. Hahahaha ! [Wink] [Wink] [Wink]

Quite agree with you David. Many years ago my esteemed colleague Mark Todd and myself made a very structured coherent argument in favour of such reform in the infamous 2004 thread of Martians Land in Rosies Toilet. !!!! Look it up it does exist. At least one of us was sober when writing can't remember who but we requested the more adult and appropriate title of title Sexy-pert. Unfortunately, due to commercial sponsorship by Disney we are now stuck with the silly Star Wars endorsements. Honestly it is a true story [Roll Eyes]

Dear David, I believe my status was "film handler" until my 100th post, and I was promoted. I didn't notice right away, but at least "film handler" implies that I know how to thread a movie projector. Now I am an "expert", which means I can thread a projector in the dark.

Mike Newell thanks for that link. It is very funny indeed. [Smile]
Paul can you lace up a projector backwards and upside down in the dark with your eyes closed while wearing a blindfold and making up a film print at the same time ? If you can you will truly have ascended to Master status. [Smile]

I think I'm about at the half-way point at 50 years old, not a young-un, but by the age of some of our esteemed senior members, quite a young buck! [Smile]

Hi Osi!

Great story about CE in The Reel Image. I enjoyed reading it.
