I have acquired a very lovely Prima 16CS anamorphic lens which is bedevilled with fungus behind the front element. Has anyone taken one of these lenses apart to clean it? Anything to look out for?

I've heard sitting them in the sun can cause the fungus to go into remission. I've never attempted to take apart some of these lenses as I do not have the type of dust free environment that would be important to the process.

Definitely keep the lens away from others so that the fungus doesn't find its way into the rest of your lenses!
