Hi, to all!

Just got into this hobby after inheriting a lot of equipment and 8mm movies from a relative.

I am having a lot of fun with it all.

It is good to see so many others who enjoy collecting....need to keep it alive!

I look forward to future postings.

Welcome to the forum Dave. Once bitten by the 8mm bug, there is no cure. You just keep feeding the habit!

Hi Dave,
Have fun and yes Mal is right in what he says. Let us know what gear it was you inherited. [Smile]

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

Welcome Dave,
Yes i also agree with Mal, but watch out, the super 8 bug can have an awful effect on the thickness of your wallet, [Frown] but it is certainly great fun.

Hi Dave,

I started about 15 months ago and am pleased to say that I am broke, nearing divorce but have lots to watch

Where did you hear about the forum?

Happy New Year

Hello Dave

Always good to see a new face [so to speak] on the forum. So what is all this gear and films that you came by? Sounds intriguing!

I'm relatively new to the hobby myself having only discovered the world of 8mm cine films a few years ago, like Tony I now have a scary looking credit card statement but plenty to watch [Smile]

Mike.

Hang on Tony, I have been at it for years and my divorce is going through at the moment. If only she could see my film collection now! [Wink] Kev.
