I was wondering if anyone has tried one of the GS1200 Xenon lamp clones that were spoken of on the forum a few months ago, I am in the process of rebuilding the power supply in a GS Xenon that I have recently acquired in a very sorry state including a damaged lamp, the only lamp I have is one out of a machine that I recently repaired that has had many hours use.

Hello Bill

I'm afraid I can't help you with the Xenon lamp [though I know that others will] but would like to welcome you to the forum.

With Ugo Kevin and now you we really do have the cream of the Elmo specialists on board! [Smile]

I know that Alan G. has tried the bulb. He said it was working fine!

Bill --

The lamps from Superior Quartz work fine. Plus, they're only about $200... SQP-SX2502 is the part number you'll need. Talk to Denny - denjr@sqpuv.com

Bill, it's great to have you on board. I actually emailed you today for some help on power supply circuit diagrams etc.

Cheers, Kev.

Let us all know how you get on with the lamp Bill, if you decide to get one.
