Wow! When I started I had no idea how large Columbia's output was! And that's not including the 4x200 Jason & the Argonauts, Sinbads (Seventh Voyage, Golden Voyage), 15 chapters of Batman & all those Three Stooges shorts!

Kev,

All off the top of my head.....and from the middle of two Columbia catalogs (1977,78). I only have about ten of that group of 400 footers. I'm not very fond of the Columbia narrator, and the quality of the editing is very inconsistent.

..... completely apart from the bad image quality of some early 400 digest.
(f.e. Lawrence of Arabia, River Kwai)

The columbia 2 x 400 and 3 x 400 are better edited and have mostly a very good picture quality.

Are you referring to the Warner Bros. 3X400' releases? I know those (Exorcist, Superman) were distributed by Columbia. Did Columbia put out any of their own films as multi-parters?

there was
- Odds and Even (Columbia 3 x 400),
aka Trinity: Gambling for High Stakes

us.imdb.com says that Columbia was one
of the Productions Companies.

8mm prints from USA

and

- Crime Busters (Columbia 3 x 400),
aka Trinity: In Trouble Again
aka Two Supercops

has columbia logos, but columbia
was only theatrical distributor

8mm prints from USA

Bridge on River Kwai
exists also as a Scope 400 footer

Thanks, Andreas. Those Terence Hill/Bud Spencer films received a fairly limited theatrical release here in the States.
