Hi Just had a thought but does anyone know how many prints where run for all of the releases of Disney features by Derann, as i am just curious.

Also i remember most of the printing was made at Rank Labs in London in the early days (80s-90s) and if so were the first prints that had been printed turned out to be the best ones?

Probably a question for Gary. I think Derann are still printing most of the Disney Features except for maybe some of the earliest releases. Certainly you cant get Mermaid new anymore.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

Kevin,

I think "The Little Mermaid" was the porrest quality out of all of them and they may be the real reason it's not still available.

I've just got few days ago this Disney from Paul Foster in a near mint condition and the most evident defect in the copy is the definition, which cannot be compared to the other Disney features.
I read various posts about differences in colors between the reels, but onestly I must say that my copy is perfect in terms of colors! Nothing to say about the sound because I have already re-recorded in Italian with my GS!
