I have a copy of Singin' In The Rain that has been edited (it runs about 85 mins instead of the 103 min of the original). There are a few crucial scenes to the plot that are missing. I was wondering if any of these scenes are on the sound digests? (mainly the 2 main MGM 400' digests that I see on Ebay from time to time) If I could buy something and add them in that would be great. The main 2 scenes that make it feel incomplete are, the scene where they preview Dueling Cavalier, and the other scene is the love scene right after they find Kathy (right from the point they tell her they've been looking for her through the song that Don sings). Some of the other scenes it's missing are
Most of the Fit As A fiddle song
Several of Don's stunts right before RF wants him to do pictures with Lena
The beginning of RF's party
Most Of The Beautiful Girl song
This is one of my favorite musicals but it just feels a little to cut up and I would love to make it a little more complete. Thanks for the help.
