I've been contacted by a producer for a company that is making a new BBC TWO series for transmission next year, they want Home Movie Footage that reflects the events of the last seventy years. Any category wanted, Royalty, Political Demonstrations, even Beatlemania, anything really, and they can handle any format (so they say, anyway!).

I have some leaflets I will be sending out over the next few weeks with orders, but I thought I would let the wider forum know about it, if you would like a leaflet then send me a stamped addressed envelope and I'll send you one.

You can contact the production team direct at samia.murphy@diverse.tv or TEL: 0203 189 3228.

I have a postal address too, if you wish to send any footage for consideration, it's: Home Movie Roadshow, 1 Ariel Way, London, W12 7SL.

It will be interesting to see this series later next year, as I think that the home cine user has captured some remarkable footage over the years, and it's programs like this that show how resourceful and talented most amateurs are.

I hope you can help.

Thanking you in advance,

Barry.

That sounds like it will be an interesting programme Barry. Almost a shame we no longer have television down here in Cornwall thanks to the complete botch up with the digital switchover. Over 2 months now with no TV and I have to say it's made us happier! I suppose you don't realize what complete crap it is until it's gone.

Let's hope this BBC2 programme turns out okay in the end though.
