Hi everybody,

I try to make several list of cartoons made on super8 on excel.
I have already done a list of shorts cartoons with Mickey Donald & co, an other one of cartoons made by Ub Iwerks, and a last one of features of disney. I begin to do it with Tom & Jerry and cartoon made by Tex Avery. I don't think that these lists are complete.
So if someone could send me scans of catalog or something else which can help me (like webste or list already made) it would be great!!

thanks, Edouard

Hi,

there's already a list:
http://inet.uni2.dk/~waltherk/tomjerry.htm
Unfortunately it's uncompletely as it only lists the releases with English soundtracks (and lacks the releases by Inter-Pathé). But it would be good start.
BTW: There are links to other cartoon-lists on that page as well.

Some of the releases with German soundtrack can be found here:
http://www.super-8-hobby.de/rezent150.htm
http://www.super-8-hobby.de/rezent151.htm
http://www.super-8-hobby.de/rezent203.htm
BTW: This webpage also has got some scanned catalogues:
http://www.super-8-hobby.de/nostalgie.htm

Or try this webpage with "Tom" as "Titel" then press "Suche starten" to see details (and sometimes cover-scans) about some English releases by Inter-Pathé and Wlaton and some German releases by Piccolo, Revue, Globus, Film Office (I do get 113 results. Some of them aren't related to "Tom & Jerry" as some titles also contain "tom" in other words like "Phantom" as well. Anyway: Don't forget to press onto the blue arrow on the upper right to advance to the next page(s). [Wink] BTW: You'll notice that some of the films show up 4 times. That's because they were available in b&w and "mute", in b&w with sound, in colour and "mute" and in colour with sound.)
http://www.super8online.de/suchen.php
Nr = short for "Nummer" (number)
Titel = title
Hersteller = distributor
Filmnummer = order number
Bild = picture
Bilder = pictures
Keine Bilder = No pictures available
Länge = length
Farbe = colour
Color = colour [Wink]
SW = short for "schwarzweiß" (b&w)
Ton = sound

This webpage also features several cover scans:
http://www.geocities.com/s8films/

Hope this helps,
Jörg

Danke Jörg,

I knew already the first and the second link
I begin all my lists with the first one but it is, as you say, uncompletely (even with the releases with English soundtracks...) but it's really a great start (thanks to the guy who make it!!).
The second is great too!!

I didn't know the other links. The third one is really a super link!! thanks.
It would be great to have a site like this with all releases (french, english...) with scan of all catalogs like in the second link!! But I think that's the work of all a life...

I have just made lists with english and french title but It would be good to add german title too.

Thanks!!

PS: If everybody else have other links or scans, thanks to him.
