Now, no one take me to task on this, just the impetus for an idea - I'd like to sort-of restore the Film Collector's Expo idea of long ago, helming a show of my own. I'm getting some basic information on rentals, insurance, locations and the such. It will take a while, and I'll really try to make a comeback to those glory days of Cherry Hill and Liberty State Park shows. I'm again speaking of film and nothing but all gauges of film and accessories, the way it used to and is supposed to be - Stay tuned one way or the other - Shorty

Interesting Joe,

Where would the epicenter of this be located?

Notice how he said he's scouting for locations, Osi? [Wink]

With my luck, all this is going to really come together just as I'm leaving the States for good. [Roll Eyes]

I knew I'd be on the carpet already - Scouting locations was too broad, since i live in Jersey it should be so-centralized. There are many fine hotels and such that can accomodate colelctors as they have in the past

Thanks, Doug. Right now it's prelim-work getting information. I've always said that, since for years Blackpool has gained a large following, we too in the US can do the same with the many colelctors and tradespeople we haave, eventually crossing international datelines inviting each other to come to each other's con - Heck, we enjoy our hobby/business and have so many stories to tell and re-tell, imagine having a nice gathering like the CINEVENT, CINEFEST ones go. Time and patience, patience and time - Shorty

The only possible problem I could see having, is getting these. Having a convention or two in the UK is much easier, driving wise, as the whole of the country is quite small, not much bigger than many of our states in the US.

I do look forward to hearing about it as you organize things, Joe.
