We are currently have sporadic industrial action in our Postal Service. Some of the major sorting offices are being targeted at random, and this causes massive delays.
An all-out strike is threatened for the 21st onward

I had that recent loss of the 16MM commercial reel, (which I hope shall turn up either here or there!), and another I am currently waiting on.

The mail can sometimes be a frustrating thing. You'll have a quoted timeline in the post office, and that is basically an "estimate", which range a good week or two in either direction.
