Hi there who ever speak French in this forum.

I am expecting 3 Film Office of TJ to arrive which the seller say their titles are as follow:

1. Jerry & le petit glouton
2. Tom, Jerry & Dynamite le tueur
3. Jerry sur le tourne-broche

Upon google translation, it says:

1. Jerry & the little glutton
2. Tom & Jerry Dynamite killer
3. Jerry on the spit

what will be the exact parallel to Walton/English title. Can you help me please.

little glutton might be Little Orphan
Dynamite killer might be Safety Second

The other I have no clue.

For future reference I watched 4 of my Film Office Tom & Jerrys to get the French titles:

Jerry et le Durdes Durs=JERRY'S COUSIN
Tom et Jerry font le Ménage=MOUSE CLEANING
Tom et la Souris de Mer=CAT AND THE MERMOUSE
Le Canari au Secouris de Jerry=KITTY FOILED

Except for MERMOUSE the color held up quite well under normal conditions. Bought these new in the late 70's or early 80's.

In fact, I almost thought that "Tom et la Souris de Mer" (Tom and Mouse Sea) was "Cruise Cat", but apparently not.

Hey, btw, it seems that many Film Office's releases do not appear on Walton/MGM release, does it correct?

I have a similar problem with an Italian edition of a T&J short titled 'QUATTRO GATTI AL CINEMA' 'cause I'm actually not in a position to find the original one.

Tom invites some friends of him for a screening night (as we normally do here eh eh ) at home. So funny for this reason: the cat uses in fact an 8mm projector for the show.
Any help about the original title? Thanks.

Gian-That sounds like SMARTY CAT. Jerry tries to watch but gets kicked out each time then brings Spike to crash the party.

Correct Larry! I have found it on YouTube. That's the one. Thanks a lot for your help. I have an Italian edition on Kodak SP. Still good enough, but on LPP it would be even better. So I will try to get a new copy, now.

I finally received those 3 TJ from France. The 3 films are quite funny. One is in English dialog but with French subtitle. Another one, is with English dialog but using story card in French (similar to silent film) and the last one is sound but no dialog with English title card is included, accompanied by smaller font for French title.

So, Larry you are right that "Jerry & le petit glouton" is "Little Orphan".

However the second one is not clear to me.

The story line is Tom is fighting with Jerry and the house maid calls another cat (A Red Cat, he is like a devil). This red cat becomes the enemy of Tom & Jerry. Therefore the two are now working together to fight the red cat.

Here is some screen captures to remind anyone here , and please give me the English title for it.

For the TJ no.3 "Jerry sur le tourne-broche" is quite funny because the English title card is still there.

It is "The A-Tom-inable Snowman". Here is some screen captures

It is strange for me that I just heard the above title in super 8. Any one knows if this title has ever released in super 8mm (English version), perhaps Derann, MGM/Ken, Red Fox or Walton?
