Well 'tis the night before Christmas; well actually it is still daylight.

It is now 3:30 P.M. Christmas Eve here in Texas. I am setting up the Elmo ST-1200 in my bar & restaurant for our first ever Christmas show. We are not opening the kitchen tonight so that my cooks could enjoy the night off. I will instead be providing free snacks and egg nog.

We open at 5:00 P.M. and the show starts at 10:OO P.M.

I'm very excited as this is my first public show to do in about three years.

The advert reel "Flavor of the Month" will start the show since it features Christmas greetings at the end.

The main film showing is "Mickey's Christmas Carol" followed with the cartoon short "Peace on Earth" which I beleive is the only cartoon to ever be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Best Regards and I hope this Christmas season has been as special to you all so far as it has been to me.

The show went great; a good turnout. There was a round of applause after the showing of "Mickey's Christmas Carol" and a second round of applause after "Peace on Earth."

I so enjoy these films but there is a feeling of greater joy in sharing them with others.

There truly is a child inside every adult and I'm happy to put on the type of show that helps bring it out in them.

For so many different reasons this has been a wonderful Christmas; my favorite time of year.

I also did a christmas screening on christmas eve for my family and fiancee, showing "A Walt Disney Christmas" on my new Elmo ST180M.

Going to repeat the screening this weekend for my fiancee's family and their children, hopefully I'll remember to get some pictures then [Smile]

To celebrate Xmas and my daughter's birthday, we showed "The Madagascar Penguins" (always a winner - and an appropriate day to screen it), followed by the whole set of Ice Age 3 teasers and trailers, a musical short ("Addams Groove" by McHammer), and "The Rescuers Down Under" as feature presentation. Pix on the "what film..." topic.
