Can someone please enlighten me regarding what TRV stands for? The price sounds extremely high to me but cnsidering that the person asking the question sounds interested, maybe I'm unaware of the value of these projectors

The last time one of these showed up on ebay Australia it went for around $10,000. You need to compare it to say a Tobin system or other similar transfer projectors however. I'd go a Tobin.

These all use a single chip internal sensor, I saw a demo of one of these back in the 80's, and thought the resulting transfer was inferior to shooting off a back projection screen with a 3 chip camera.
