I watched my Godfather Part 2 3 x 400ft digest yesterday and given the length of the film consider it a good digest. What I had never noticed before is that Robert DeNiro does not appear at all, even though his name appears prominently on all three of the original boxes.
His role was the flashback parts where he plays a young Vito in Italy, but to make the digest flow more smoothly this entire part of the movie has been left out!
This reminds me of the 2 x 400 It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World release where one of the most famous scenes in the feature is pictured on the back cover but does not appear in the digest.
(The Godfather Part 2 is almost completely brown......but my copy never had good colour)
