Hi all,
Yesterday night was my first time to screen Abbot & Costello for my kids and the respon from them was so mazing.
The kids got easily the story and the jokes so they laughed loudly. However it was more succesful when they were watching shorts (200') rather than longer reel (400') with too many talks. That is why I am thinking now to add more A&C 200' series.
Now I have had:
1. Abbot & Costello “Rocker and Roll” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
2. Abbot & Costello “Double Cross at Criss Cross” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
3. Abbot & Costello “Take the bus pay later” (Universal8, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
4. Abbot & Costello “Ride’em Cowboy” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
5. Abbot & Costello “No Bulls Please” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
6. Abbot & Costello “No Indian Please” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
7. Abbot & Costello “Hollywood and bust" (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
8. Abbot & Costello “Meet Frankenstein” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Silent)
9. Abbot & Costello “Riot on Ice” (Castle, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
10. Abbot & Costello “In The Navy" BW (Universal8,, Super 8mm, 400', B/W, Sound)
11. Abbot & Costello “Pardon my Saron” (Universal8, Super 8mm, 200', B/W, Sound)
Anyone can give a complete list for me, so I can add them into my collection and give my kids more laugh ?
ps: beside the 200' reels, you can also give me the list for 400', but definetely no need to inform me about the full feature.
thanks [ December 15, 2011, 01:17 AM: Message edited by: Winbert Hutahaean ]

Of course, these are all "rare", because they are no longer produced - Also rare in the sense that, with sharp original boxes, tail and front leaders, and a crisp print, all these factors are a boon and add to the premium - Harder to get ones are the original flap-top boxed Std 8mm Silents; NO INDIANS PLEASE, NO BULLS PLEASE, MIFGET CAR MANIACS, OYSTERS AND MUSCLES (#809) and KITCHEN MECHANICS (#812) - All with different artwork, almost comic-book style - What's the word for that? - Shorty
