Hello people,

i can't record on track 2 anymore,does anyone know what is happen with the magnetic stripe because other movies works everything.if i listen then i hear little beeps like slipping.
i have clean the movie but is that the problem?
I don't know what to do.....helppppp!!!! [Frown]

Hopefully it's just that one print. Try another one and if that's okay then it confirms the problem, if not then the projector is at fault.

I had this problem with my first Aliens feature (Kodak pre-stripe) where the Chinon SS1200 was not applying pressure to the right place on this one print. I made a paper washer for the sound pressure guide and miraculously that cured it. As you can imagine, the subsequent re-recording was very good.

But is it possible to repair this or is the movie damaged?

Another projector may record it okay. Nothing can be done about the print, there's actually nothing wrong with it, it's just your projector doesn't line up. Re-record it in mono on the main track or sync' pulse it if you have a GS1200 in your collection.
