I read in the other forum that someone is owning this title on super 8mm (full feature). I don't know if I misinterpret his post, but it was posted in the 8mm section.

So can you guys give me the light if someone is releasing this title in very limited number (and limited ways [Wink] )

Winbert, I believe the german lab can print any title providing they have the negative and you have the money [Wink]

I thought that was the case too Graham, but we see the same list
of titles trotted out and I think the choice is limited.

Graham, I don't think the German lab needs the negative but positive prints.

So it will be reducing from positive to positive.

If that is the case, they can make with minimum 2 orders right (considering they use 16mm stock and slice into 2 8mm).

And this type of service will not be available in 3 - 5 years to come when 35mm prints do not exist any longer.

Not sure if any 35mm prints will be available in 3-5 years - in the UK, they are being phased out in about 3-5 months!

I must say that I'm surprised if the German lab can produce reductions of 35mm to Super 8. I had this done with a few trailers in the UK in the 1980s but no one would think the quality would justify the enormous expense of getting a feature printed.
