Does anyone know where I can get hold of a set of these. They would have to be an integral fit on a Bauer T610, not some contraption that takes up half a living room to assemble!

I use a set of the Spondon arms had them for years. They cannot attach to your projector, the design is for them to be mounted on a wooden plank. Mine will take a 6000ft spool, used for both 16mm & super 8. Spondon are no longer trading Phil Sheard bought the stock from them a few years ago. You could try Classic Home Cinema he may have something to help you. Don't think you'll find anything to fit directly on to the projector though.

I also use them when cleaning films. I can place my ECCO cleaner between the arms and slowly clean my films. It works very well too, due to the variable speed control.

I love the smell of film in the morning.

Thanks David, I knew they wouldn't exactly just snap onto the existing projector arms but was hoping they could sit or be screwed as an assembly to the top of the projector in order to take a 1200ft reel. I don't know whether or not to bother with any ancillary arms that take a long time to set up and dismantle and then may need planks of wood to form an assembly around the projector! To me I want to set up and be into the movie inside 10 minutes on a standard projector table. I find it tedious enough just setting up a scope lens assembly without adding more to the equation. Might try having a go at doing an intregal engineering fix to get the original arms longer and maybe experiment with different gear ratio's on the arms to maintain the correct design tensions
