Hi I have an Elmo K100 dual guage silent projector which I recently started to use after a couple of years of inactivity. It makes a quite shrill squeaking noise on forward projection. Everything appears to be working properly but that noise is not right! It is rhythmic not constant, possibly sounds as if something is rubbing or slipping. Any thoughts as to what to look at first?

Peter, lovely to see another local posting on the forum!

Lets have a look together next time we are both off work to see what's going on in there if you wish?

Let me know if this suits you, alternatively just send a short video out to any number of us with front and rear covers removed whilst photographing the issue.
