Here is a link to a very interesting film of the story of Walton Films and its eventual demise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NJSJ7qxaZo

Thanks for sharing that link. It was great to see, for the first time, inside the Walton facilities where so many of the super 8 films I love were created. It was like going back in time. Very cool! I wish there was a similiar video touring the Derann facilities. That must be out there too.

Thanks, Maurice, that's fascinating. How great to see such unique material on Walton - the footage of their display stands at events (especially the 'Fireball XC5' display) is astounding! The film comes to a rather abrupt end - about a minute after we hear that the staffing has increased and the company is involved in the viseo boom - but it's still a great achievement. Must look out for a 16mm colour print of 'At Home with Sabrina"!
