Just saw an episode of the TV series, The Black List...and the main character, Reddington, is shown with a super 8 guillotine type splicer...working with some rewinds and a 200ft metal reel, putting rolls of home movies together. At the end he's seen projecting them. When I saw the splicer, I yelled out, "I've got that splicer!!" Wife and daughter could not quite understand my reaction. ha ha

Gary...I'm a big fan of The Blacklist. I'm getting caught up watching Season 1 episodes right now on NetFlix. It's a riveting series and James Spader is brilliant. With my watching knowledge so far into season 1...Reddick has a tragic path that the audience still has no specifics about. Seems like a logical progression to have him watch old films of happier times. I can't wait to get to that episode.
