Hey Folks, I haven't posted on here for a while so I hope I'm doing this right.
OK,I got what I think is a very nice never used Minolta xl-sound-84 about a year ago on ebay. And I just purchased (also on ebay) a Minolta wireless mic and receiver that I truly believed was for the same model years as my camera but upon receiving it I realized that the mic is correct but the receiver which goes on the camera is not. when attached it presses too firmly against the wide-tele zoom toggle. And it's wider and way more 70's looking than the brochure that came with my camera (although it's the one item that not shot clearly for the brochure) shows for the correct model.
Anybody out there an informed late years Minolta Super 8 sound person and would they know the model - part # for the correct wireless receiver? The model # for the one I just bought is: FWR-1A
I have included a picture of the wrong one. For what it's worth.
