The optical sound on my FUMEO 9119 doesn't work anymore... The exciter lamp works perfectly (i.e. it's on!) and the amplifier light is also on! The magnetic sound is ok.

Are you getting any noise at all from the amplifier if you place a piece of small cardboard or paper between the exciter lamp and optical lens?
If you wave the card or paper up and down between the optical lens and exciter lamp, you should hear a sound through the amplifier and loudspeaker as the paper or card breaks the light beam.
If you hear nothing at all, next point to check is Opt/ Mag switch as clearly there cannot be much wrong with your amp if anything at all Flavio, as it works perfectly with the mag track.
Try and find out if you get a change in resistance from the photocell using the paper / card method if all else checks out ok.
Also check the obvious first and make sure the path between lens and lamp is perfectly clear with no debris blocking the path.

In short then Flavio your photocell, lamp, amplifier and speaker are all working. Clean thoroughly the entire area where the film passes by the lens and lamp.
Try to clean the tiny lens with a lens cloth, then if still no joy, check for track misalignment.
Have you tried a variety of films and do hear any sound from the optical track at all? Even low sound or muffled sound?
Did the optical sound suddenly stop working or was it gradual? Have you been doing any work on that area of the machine recently?
